PRICES

We have been advised by our suppliers that timber prices are expected to rise due to Brexit. They seem to be rising constantly every week.

This is due to the fact that a great deal of timber is imported from France (so the suppliers say!) so any quote provided will be valid for 7 days after which time the quote will have to be re-calculated as the prices are constantly changing.

We will get back in touch with you as soon as possible - again,  my apologies for any delay

Kind regards

The Owner -  Abbey Decking Systems & Fencing Services.

BELOW ARE A FEW PROJECTS WHICH CAN BE LOOKED AT IN MORE DETAIL BY CLICKING ON THE RELEVANT TABS ON THE LEFT OF THE PAGE

Mr West of Allestree asked us to erect a gazebo, integrating it into the frame of the new deck.

Before/after:

Mr & Mrs Stone of Oakwood asked us to install a new deck at the bottom of their garden.

There was considerable work to do as the area had to be dug out and the concrete base jackhammered out.  This filled a 10-ton skip.

The deck was set on two levels with a pergola built into the structure using 6 x 6 posts.

Rope with brass hooks was used as an additional feature.

Before/after:

Mr Wilkins of Allestree asked us to give his garden a makeover.  He wanted a level, no maintenance garden as well as new fencing at the rear of the garden.

Before/after:

Mr Ware of Chaddesden asked us to replace a boundary fence as well as create a raised border.

Before/after:

Mr & Mrs Watson of Mickleover asked us to install a sleeper wall as the existing timber retaining posts were rotten.

Before/after:

Derek of Worksworth asked us to replace a rotten deck outside his summer house.

Before/after:

Mr Brocklehurst of Mackworth asked us to make-over his back garden.

Before:

After:

Mr Needham of Little Eaton asked us to build a safe platform/walk way for his elderly mother.  Anti-slip tape was used in the areas where there was a slight slope as well as the addition of balustrade all around the area.  The area itself was not large but there was a great deal of work involved to design and construct the bespoke project.  Gates were also constructed on site.

Dan of Hilton asked us to replace his existing post and rail fence, install double gates (for a bin storage area) and also build him a small deck.  There was a considerable amount of work to do, as the area where the deck was located needed digging out to ensure that there was an air gap/good circulation under the deck.  This prevents the timbers from rotting.

Before/after:

Mr Robson of Allestree asked us to build him a bespoke deck with metal balustrade which followed the contours of his garden.  A matching bespoke gate was also to constructed with the integrated railings:

Mr Francis of Duffield asked us to build him a corner deck and a large pergola.  Huge 6 x 6 posts were used to support the structure:

Mrs Maunder of Darley Abbey asked us to fit double ranch gates to secure the front drive.

Before and after:

Mr De Waal of Breadsall asked us to install a new fence and gate in their front driveway as well as a curved post and rail fence in their rear garden.  We also levelled and installed two-tonnes of stone on the drive.

Mrs Simone of Littleover asked us to replace her old fence, gate and make her/fit some bespoke fan trellis which was made on site.  She did not want to use concrete as she preferred heavy-duty pressure treated posts and panels.

Mrs Parker of Mickleover had a large part of her garden landscaped - see the landscaping tab for more pictures.

Mr Yates of Allestree asked us to landscape his whole garden.
He had a 33 square metres patio installed as well as a raised planter made from railway sleepers.
Walls were repaired and various coverings were put on top of weed preventing membrane.

Mr Pemberton of Darley Abbey had dome-top fencing all around his garden as well as a new gate and side panel:

Mr Pemberton then went on to have the capping removed form his wall and membrane/20 mm gravel laid.  A wasted (weed problem area) behind the shed had a concrete edging installed to retain the soil before being covered with membrane/gravel.

Mesh fencing & gates fitted in a range of colours:

Allestree Scouts/Portway School in Allestree had a 2 metre high V-Mesh security fence and gate installed:

Mrs Allen of Derby asked us to install a patio, fencing, garden structure and double gates.

Mr Hagan of Belper asked us to build him a frame which he was going to attach a plastic roof to at a later date.

6 x 6 posts were used as well as 8 x 2 timbers at the wall and facia to support the joists.

Mr Cope asked us to build him a new deck off the first floor of his house in Belper:

Mr & Mrs Wheat of Aston on Trent had this raised deck installed with rope and chrome fittings:

Mr Singh had his garden  fencing replaced with concrete posts, gravel boards and  dome top panels.   He also asked us to install a new raised border to define the area.

Below - Mr George asked us to build him a structure within the grounds of his restaurant in Findern, which will be used for parties and weddings.
